I've been working on ETO tunes all night. Fixing old arrangements, writing new tunes, getting stuff together for the November burlesque shows. I was going through my hard drive and perusing old homemade recordings and looking for ideas, something I often do if I'm in a rut, and reminiscing on bygone days. In my laptop I've got about 35 hours of my original tunes, its the only music I have on the laptop, and in scattered boxes around the apartment who knows how many more. I arranged them a bit into junk I don't ever want to hear again and ten seperate 'albums' of material arranged by how and when they were recorded. The 1st record I call 'Hotwind One Man and his Broadcast Super Band' and the 10th one I call 'Live'. The 10th one is called 'Live' what with the fact that I have been a bit too busy these past couple years to be able to get down and do any studio work or home recording at the rate I used to. I'd like to eventually make these guys into cute little CDs with handmade packaging so they can sit around the apartment and gather dust or eventually make their way into hands of my poor/cheap friends for free when I realize I will never be able to sell one. Someday...
