since leaving chicago we have battled thru wind and rain and cold and illness to rock the disinterested masses and make some new friends/fans along the way. we partied with my step siblings in central illinois and both alana and i got totally sicky. booo. the weather was miserable the whole time, then, literally right as we crossed the state line into missouri, the sun came out and the weather turned beautiful again. partied with audrey, dolly and jas, and april in st. louis, slept in actual beds (!!!) and took hot showers! rolled into lawrence last night and got to play with panda circus who are totally rad and silly. got really drunk and group-facebooked all night (way more fun than sleep), took kelsey out for lunch today (smoothies and pretzels) then cleaned the filthy van.
