Hi folks! :o)

I promised you to translate some of my lyrics, right?
"Acalmar" is going to be the one (and only) relesead on USA, so, it'll be the frist one to be translated.

I wrote this lyric in a bad mood day, I was sad and didn't know exactly why. My life was doing fine, but I was not satisfied. So, I figured to be someone looking at a calm sea... but thinking that this peace is really different from what goes inside.

It starts talking about the calm sea and how it seems good to swin, to fishin' and to dive with someone that you love.

When it turns into a blues, it says that it seems really nice, but not when you feel so sad.

There are two brazilian composer quoted on it: Carlinhos Brown and Dorival Caymmi. Both are from Bahia but, the first one composes music for Carnival and Caymmi composed calm musics. Carlinhos Brown started on a band called "Mar Revolto" (stormy sea) and that's what the lyric says: today I'm just like an stormy sea (like Brown) and not like a calm sea (like Caymmi)

So, rhythm changes again and this verse says that, if you don't have a reason to feel peaceble, you can't like the calm sea.

When it changes into a punk rock, it says that today, this person refuses the peace brought by the shore, wishing for a sea storm because it feels like an storm inside.

The poem says:

The Dead Sea inside of me
And I'm hidding salt tears in my eyes
Tears that are as salt as the Dead Sea
And the lovers' bodies are just like backwater
The Dead Sea is inside of me

Sorry for the bad English... but I hope you've enjoyed anyway! :o)

I'll translate some more lyrics soon!
