DAWNRIDER in December 2008 entered Crossover Studios in Lisbon to record their second album.
Recorded with the line-up of FJ-vocals, JB-guitar, H. Conim-guitar, Carlos-bass and André on drums, the recordings lasted only two months and happened very smoothly.
Tracklist as follows: Scared of Light / Evil Deeds / Irinia / Redemption / Queen of the Mountain / The Hollow Path / Walking Blind / Maelstrom (exclusive instrumental song for the Portuguese edition).

Expect a different album; Heavier, slower and more melodic. We used more guitar effects and arrangements this time, as well as some percussion and some acoustic parts on "Irinia", our longest song clocking nearly at 13 minutes.
The edition will be once again by Raging Planet Records (check them on our top friends).

At the same time will be ready a 3" CD-EP in DVD case, limited to 99 copies. This will have "Irinia" demo version, and two unreleased covers: Saint Vitus legendary anthem "Born too late" and an aborted Diamond Head cover for "Lightning to the Nations" we never played live. Both recorded live in the rehearsal studio in early 2005. It will be released by Universal Tongue label, specialized in these 3" CD limited editions.
