Don't Vote!

..

Do you think that they purposely screwed up the ability to see the myspace address in that video at about 2:22 in?

Someone obviously did so, but who?

Was it the video producers or the owners of myspace?

Here are two possibilities:

1. The video producers could have been purposely trying to show that it takes some intelligent effort to vote.

2. The myspace owners (hi Rupert!) could just be against a high voter turn-out.

Which do you think it is?

Your guess is as good as mine.

And we both have one vote.

...

If you are already a myspace pal of ours,
you can also add your comment to the
iamonevote Bulletin Board Post of this video.

Thanks for everything you do to
Keep those Voter Balls Rolling!

Hmmm.. The video doesn't even show in this revised post. So I guess that gives us our answer.

I watched it. It didn't mess up. It was a good message.
(would really suck if you could only watch the first half!!)

The video shows up on your computer?

In the blog above (nor the blog below)?

That's weird. There's no video showing for us on this end on the blog entitled "Voter Censorship?" though it does show up in our earlier blog entitled "What's wrong with this video?"

Anyway, when we play the video, it plays from start to finish.

The thing is, at about 2:30 minutes in, when they start talking about writing down the web address and then it comes up on the screen, you can't read it because the myspace logo on the bottom-right blocks the web address from view.

It does that in blogs, on profile pages, and in bulletin comments.

However, if you go to the site that created the video ( www.myspace.com/5friends ), it's not blocked at all.

See what I mean?

Whatevs.

The beat goes on.

I wrote:

"In the blog above (nor the blog below)?"

But that was a typo. I meant to write:

"In the blog above (NOT the blog below)?"

Because the video shows up in the older blog, but not the newer one.

Yet the HTML code for the video was identical for both posts.

And each time I went to edit the raw HTML to try to fix it, I discovered that all of the tags for the video were gone. So I re-inserted them and tried again. Several times. Checking for typos, comparing it with the working version, etc..

But each time, no go.

It's censorship of some sort.

Oh well.

That's how the greedy dishonest folks behave.

We've had lots of experience with them, unfortunately.

And yet we remain optimistic.
