Hey folks,
Just wanted to let y'all know that we've got a whole heap of exciting
shows coming up this month. Here's the skinny:
-This
Friday, October 2, Possum Jenkins will be on our home turf as we team up with Greensboro's
Holy Ghost Tent Revival for a show at The Garage in Winston-Salem. Possum Jenkins
will be playing first, hitting the stage at 10:00 p.m. SHARP. The cover is $7 and
the show is 21 & up.
-Next Saturday, October 10, Possum Jenkins
will be in full-on festival mode as the band plays its first-ever set at the Shakori Hills Grass Roots Music and Dance Festival.
Our set will take place from 2:30 to 3:35 p.m. at the Grove Stage. Other performers
at the festival include The Gourds, Roman Candle, The Duhks, The Belleville Outfit,
The Never and tons more. Please come camp and enjoy a killer weekend of live music
in a great setting.
-On Friday and Saturday, October 16 and
17, Possum will play a pair of big shows in two of our favorite bars. On Friday,
10/16, PJ will again team with Athens, Ga.'s The Corduroy Road at Murphy's in Boone for a special alternating
set show. TCR will play the first and third sets while Possum will handle the second
and fourth sets for what promises to be a long night of great live Americana.
On Saturday, PJ will head to Puckett's Farm Equipment in Charlotte where
we'll be joined for the first time by acclaimed Asheville-based singer-songwriter
Dave Desmelik. Puckett's is always a blast,
so make the drive out to Derita. It's worth it!

independent music retailers on the web, both the physical disc and downloads are
available through CDBaby.com. And in case you didn't get the
memo, the disc is also available for download at AmieStreet.com (as is our Live at
the DotMatrixProject album).

a major facelift thanks to our friend Jamie Carroll. If you have suggestions about
