Important update concerning MCD Promotions:

As the owner of MCD Promotions, I want to thank everyone for their support and tell you that things have shifted to another level. As you may have noticed, Shawn Davis is no longer a part of MCD Promotions or “The Shawn and Curtis Show” on Coyote 107. Shawn was released July 8th for reasons I don’t care to discuss. The name of the radio show has been changed and is now “The Metal Shop w/Curtis”. Cool name on a great station.

For those of you who know me, you know that I am a straight shooter. MCD Promotions suffered a black eye due to the actions of Mr. Davis; but I have rectified that problem.

Over the past week I have learned that Mr. Davis has promised multiple bands opportunities that he can not deliver. Unfortunately, I was unaware that Mr. Davis had stepped outside MCD Promotions and was apparently trying to go solo; the problem with that is he was still using the MCD Promotions branding.

If you have been in contact with Mr. Davis regarding shows, promotions, or tour dates and you HAVE NOT talked to me personally, please consider those dates bogus. As owner, my approval must be on all of the promotions. I make contact with every band and their management before anything is set in stone.

Please feel free to call me at 575-302-6722 if you have concerns and we will talk about them. I will try my best to honor what I can.

Now for some good news: MCD Promotions is going to open a satellite office in Lubbock, TX in the very near future. My good friend Jeremy White will be running the Texas office and I look forward to GREAT things.

Again, I regret any misinformation any of you may have received from Mr. Davis. I could not fix the problem until I knew there was one.
