Dear Promoters,

We will be setting up a new system on our website that will be listing your events in an organized fashion.  Each event will have a "pre-survey" that will essentially list the event, the talent, etc., but also list if your event is 18+, 21+ or all-ages.  We will be asking for your cooperation in submitting information to us as to whether or not your event has the proper permits, insurance, and security, along with the name of the security company you've hired. 

We realize that not all events will have this information at the time of the event posting as it takes you months to organize your events, however, we hope you will cooperate with us to ensure we have the proper information.

Further, to prevent us from giving out false information, we will be asking that you either show us some type of proof that you've taken the steps to ensure these things have happened.  We aim to give out the most accurate information to people so that they can make an informed decision in attending your event.  We believe people have a right to feel safe at events and do a proper risk assesment before attending.  There will always be people who like to attend renegade events, just as there will always be people who refuse to attend renegade events.  We aim to let people know exactly what type of event they are attending.

Does this seem to be a lofty request?  Perhaps.  But in the spirit of cooperation, keeping in mind our motto to "positively promote responsibility and respect," we hope that you will do your best to work with us and we will do our best to support you and your events.

In an effort to help all of YOU, we will also have a "post-survey" where people can come back to our site and be anonymously polled about how safe they felt, the facilities at the events, availability of staff, security and water, and all of the other technical things that come with parties.  We will gladlly share all of our information with you so that you can work on your weaknesses and continue with your strengths in an effort to bring the quality of events to an all time high.
