As I sit buried in paperwork hell, I am contemplating how it got to this point!! Really? Shouldn't I be pre-occupied with something more important, like having some crazy obsession with shoes? Chocolate? Diamonds? I pray for the day of a paperless society. I mean how many times in a month can one really win a sweepstakes? Isn't everything electronic now any way? Was I the last person on the block to get rid of my cassette tapes? And to think of all the trees that are killed everyday to have one more chain letter sit on top of my desk. The environment shattered to make a quick buck. Does anyone really see that much green anymore in their wallets any way? Isn't good old cash hard to come by these days after being replaced with plastic? Are we really headed in the right direction? How much does gas prices have to get to before people start dusting off our skateboards? Really! Have we evolved too much for our own good? We even find mates in cyberspace now. Does that attribute to chivalry being dead? Can't we do anything the good ol' fashioned way or we too big for our bridges? Does anyone even care? Are we just so consumed with the revelation that going organic is going to save our lives and recycling plastic is going to save our planet? With the evolution of man and his discoveries, have we hurt ourselves by being further detached from the core of our existence? Really...
