yup. i've decided i want to go to Cardiff. unfortunately, just to get an idea of how much i'm going to have to scrimp and save, i just looked up the average ticket price for a round trip.. well... trip. for ONE day in cardiff, i'd have to book for THREE in order to get a full day in (cause, y'know, them long ass flights across the atlantic would ruin it if i couldn't have at least one day in that wonderful city) and... it's just shy of $3000. JUST FOR THE FLIGHT. that's not even including hotel costs, food costs... so now i'm bummed. no, i didn't expect it to be cheap. god no! that'd be ridiculous. i just didn't realize how much it would cost. i figured one or two thousand, sure. but wow. just... wow.
ANYWAY... i still want to go. it's just going to be a really REALLY long time before i can do it. which makes me sad. oh well, can't always get what you want when you want. just means i have a goal! yay!
