VICTORIAN BUSHFIRE APPEAL

It’s terrible when there’s a tragedy
at home and you feel helpless. That’s how a lot of us Aussies in LA
feel about the devastating bushfires in Victoria, the worst in
Australian history.

At last count there were 173 people killed
and the estimate is that it will top 230 as they go from house to
house, car to car and community centre to community centre. Many of
these are difficult to reach or dangerous to enter.

The best
we can do from this distance is hold a fundraiser party in the honour
of those who died, those who are injured and families made homeless by
the fires. It’s a small thing I know, but to do nothing isn’t an option.

The Blue Goose Lounge has generously offered us their place to hold the party and raise some money for the victims.

Entry
is a pay-what-you can donation (suggested $20). We’re passing on the
money to the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. If some of you have
an item of value that you’d like to offer so we can auction it on the
night that would be fantastic.

There will be some great
performers including Australian stars Ricki-Lee Coulter, Dean Geyer,
Andy Clockwise, Bruno Lucia & MANY more to be announced.

Impress your Valentines by bringing them to this event and showing them what a massive heart you have.
