I really don't like the set up of myspace blogs.  Am I just picky or is this blue background rediculous?

I'm testing the blog out to see how much interest there is from friends/fans.

I hadn't written a song in six months until this weekend.  I've led a very uneventful and cyclical life.  Let's just say I've been spending six months waiting for a certain something to happen.  Now, I've realized that I've been preventing myself from experiencing the very thing that inspires me to write: social interaction.

For six months I kept the same friends and dedicated every decision I made to a specific person.  I thought that improving myself would make them give a damn.  In the past week I've realized that I haven't changed a bit, but that my insecurities are no longer there.  I bear no grudges against those I've loved and still love.  I am bare and ready to experience life again.

I wrote a song to this person this weekend, a sort of 'last chance' message was delivered.  Regardless of what has or hasn't happened now, I don't hurt either way.  This is life, and happiness in love always comes back around.  I've made it over a year as an 'available' person and I'm still alive.

In retrospect, don't wait around for someone to love you- regardless of the reason.  If you aren't loved back, your love isn't deserved in return.  It's called reciprocity.  It's not worth what you're missing elsewhere.  And for me, it's not worth the songs I could be writing and the music I could be making.
