Hey, friends all around this globe!

Updating everyone on what's been happenin' in my world...! 

First of all, for those of you who live in the L.A. area, I'm playing this Saturday November 7th at 7 pm at the Talking Stick, 1411 Lincoln Blvd, Venice.  I've played here a couple of times before, it's a very cool coffee place, and this night is promoted by the lovely Toni K. and TK Promotions.  Also appearing will be Rana and Kathryn Grimm.  Would love to see some friends there, should be a fun night! 

I'm also in the middle of putting my lead & backing vocals on a bunch of tracks for a double album with The McGrath Project, a band I've been singing with recently.  This is truly an awesome band, featuring Tim Bogert on bass, Chet McCracken on drums, Dean Minnerly on keyboards, and Gary McGrath on guitar and vocals.  These guys have 12 Grammys between them, two are members of the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, and they've all been members of, played with, opened for, some of the most legendary bands and artists in the history of rock...!  It's a veeeery cool thing to be a part of.  Singing rock'n'roll is a slight departure for this country girl, but I'm having a blast.  The album is set for release in January 2010.

Next, I'm starting on a brand new solo record...yay!
