Current mood:  contemplative
Having started Crow Crag as a means to get Martin Vogwell to stop hiding his considerable talent away from the masses, I feel it is time to let the fledging fly from the nest. He's been doing his own thing more and more of late. I feel like a proud Father, taking a back seat.

So, with heavy heart but quiet relief, we lay Crow Crag to rest for now - if only for live performances. My workload is insane at the moment and I just don't have time to practice and rehearse as much as is necessary to sustain any momentum.

But, we'll still be recording and popping new songs up on here. So, it's not a final farewell by any means.

Hopefully, we'll have more time to record songs properly, adding a bit of Nick Williams on Bass and some Dean Rhodes drums to the mix. I'm hankering after some flute and fiddle too. So, I yearn for that to come to fruition.

Musically, I'm far behind the all-powerful Martin and I'm glad to let him strike out on his own. However, I know I can compose a good tune and write a good lyric, so I'm happy to wend my merry way in musical ignorance. Ha ha.

Check out Martin's own MySpace page (see 'Friends' - Martin Vogwell) and catch him when he's playing live.

I'm sure you haven't seen the last of Crow Crag, in whatever form, but - for now - I wish you a graceful 'au revoir' and take a bow on behalf of both of us.

Best wishes & rainbow fishes,
BARNABY xx
