. With the exception of the Ethiopiques CDs and the Broken Flowers soundtrack, as many of you know, it is not easy to find Mulatu Astatke's music. Unfortunately most of the Astatke music you will find, with the exception of the aforementioned CDs, will be on LPs or records.

In this blog I will try to help you find more.

maaaan even the vinyls hard to find... i'm in seattle and i've been diggin tryna find some pieces since i read the interview in waxpoetics!  i thought there was a recent re-pressing but don't know where to get it...

no but funny enough my public library had several Ethiopiques records going back to early sixties up to the nineties. Bonus;D Sometimes its where you least expect it.
