That's frickin awesome! Haven't seen u since the DVD launch party in October... kind of having withdrawls! Thank god u r playing at Summerfest! I love ur shows there! Can't wait to see u again!

Please tell me you guys are going to be playing sometime after mid-Sept. My boyfriend and I love you guys. We are both in the military, which we love, but the only problem is--we miss you gigs because of it. And of course, we are both missing Summerfest this year. He's deployed and I am in TX in a course. I thought of flying back up for Summerfest, but you guys are playing on a weekday when I'm in class! We were there for your anniversary show in Oct, the night before I left for a military evaluation that changed the course of my career and life. That night, when you guys played "Extraordinary" it put me in the midset that I could only think positively about the decision that was about to be made at that evaluation. Long story short, the answer was "no" to being able to fly in the military, which was hard to take for awhile, but I moved on and that is why I am here in TX right now and missing Summerfest. I love that all of your songs make your audience feel something--they're not just a beat, some notes and a voice. That is the reason you guys have such a great following. You are humble and there for the music, not the fame. Twenty-plus years and you are still a local band and it seems like you are happy about that. Everywhere I go when I find someone who is into music, I ask if they know about you, knowing they most likely won't since they are not from Milwaukee. I tell them that they have to listen to you and every time, they end up liking you guys. So, overall, I just want to thank you guys for producing such great music and putting your heart and soul into it. I really wish I could be there this summer, but this is my job and being away from home is all part of it. It always happens furing Summerfest though...in 2005 I missed it too...just Murphy's law I guess. :) I hope you guys have a great show!<br /><br />~Cortney
 

Cortney,<br />Thanks for the message. It means a lot. Sorry to hear about the evaluation, but you're right, everything happens for a reason. That being said, we should be back at some point after September. We're currently taking some time off from performing to record some new songs and spend more time with our families. I am so going to be there! Even if I have to take off of work. I've seen you guys 12 times in concert so this will make lucky 13 :-)
