So we've been hard at work the past few months on....well, nothing, really. At least nothing Wizard-Rock related. But things are hopefully going to change in the coming weeks. And hopefully we can start working on Album 2, as well as announce a show or 2 next year. But more on that in a later blog.
First and foremost, we contributed a song to the Wizard Rock Compilation being put out by The Chinese Chomping Cabbages called 'Wrocking on the Borderline,' which features a ton of songs from a ton of awesome wizard rock bands. And the proceeds will be donated to charity!! To get a copy (which features our song Magical Me 2...which is exclusive to this CD), go
hereFor people that still wanted to pick up One More Peaceful Day, I just set up a link to purchase it,
here It should cost just a bit more than $11. And, as always, proceeds are going to First Book. Speaking of which...
It's about time we collected all of the money we've stowed away from the proceeds of both An Enchanted Christmas and One More Peaceful Day. Last year we made over $100 from An Enchanted Christmas, this year we've made around $150 and counting. Thank-you to everyone that's ordered a copy so far!
So, we've decided it's just about time to donate the money we've been saving. To provide a little incentive for anyone still on the fence about picking up a copy, and--since it's the holidays and we're feeling generous...
Buy An Enchanted Christmas, Get Wizard Rock Cake for Free!!!!
(From Now Until January 31st)
If you order An Enchanted Christmas through our Myspace page, we'll also ship it out with a copy of our first CD...so you're getting both CDs, shipped, for only $10! And the money is going to a good cause.
The master plan is to hopefully sell a handful more CDs between now and the end of January and then donate everything in the beginning of February.
Oh, also, we decided to lower the price of Wizard Rock Cake to $5 in the U.S. and Canada. It's still only $7 everywhere else!
So......hopefully everybody is having a not-too-hectic-December. We have BIG plans next year and can't wait for everyone to see them. And, who knows...if the inspiration strikes (read: if we stop being lazy and record), there might be a new song before christmas...
Happy holidays everyone!
