I decided to change the filter on our britta filter before bed, so I have a few spare minutes to give another update. Oh and I am also burning the most killer mix cd for my Mom right now. I broke it into sections to make it easier to read (that is a lie, I typed out the sections before hand so I wouldn't forget what I was going to type).

Work
This week hasn't been totally productive so far haha. I worked way too hard and too many hours last month, so I took it easy the first few days of this week. I still worked and got stuff done, but I wanted to give my brain a second to relax.

I did, however get a few things done, so it wasn't a waste by any means.

Wrapped up a quick web banner, started on a website, two shirts and a few other things.

I've also been going to the gym everyday for the past few weeks. I took a few days off when Kevin came to visit but I am back in the swing of things now. I was going around 8am, but now I've been going after lunch time. It is great there around 1pm. Just a few older people and that is about it. Today there was a man who signed up who looked exactly like Ronald Reagan. The resemblance was uncanny. When I would go in the morning, there was sometimes a Jerry Lewis, so I am thinking maybe Detar Health Center is a hub for these celebrity look-a-likes to gather and congregate?

shoes
Last month business was really good, so I decided to treat myself and get something I really wanted. Don't get me wrong, I buy things when I want them, but mostly little things like posters and cds. So anyway, when I saw these shoes that Michael Sieben did for Adidas, I had to get em.

Bedroom Set
Krystal and I also finally ordered a bedroom set a few weeks ago. We've just had a bed and some mismatched furniture, so we figured it was time to get a proper set up. It finally comes in Friday afternoon.

I can't find it online but I will post a picture when it is all set up. We got the header, foot board, rails, boxspring, mattress (queen), end table and dresser with mirror.

Also, I got confirmed to be in a totally amazing book this week, featuring some of my favorite artists! It doesn't come out until 2009, but it is going to be incredible, I promise!

The basic story behind is that artist Aye Jay Morano's son Cohen has been painting with watercolors since he was 2 years old. Aye Jay saw this as an awesome opportunity to have his son collaborate with some of the great artists he has met and worked with over the years. Cohen paints something with watercolor, and than they send it to the artist to draw, paint or do whatever they please to it.
