Tragically I've lost my partner is music, my best friend, my only brother Corey Parrish on February 27, 2008. He and I composed songs and had a natural musical report. We played a show that was dedicated to Corey at Puck Live on March 28th and it was beautiful...I know he was there with us. Some of the songs from that night that were recorded live are available to listen to here on my myspace and on my official website. Corey was an amazing finger tapper and was inspired by Kaki King and many of the great classical guitarists. There is footage of Corey playing in his memorial video and on YOU TUBE. Not only was he beyond his years in his guitar style and writing, he was also a GREAT drummer, bassist and piano player. He could honestly play any instrument he tried and was gifted with perfect pitch. Though there were seven years between us, we had a bond through music and each other that far surpassed anything I've ever felt in this life time. His music touched so many people in his short time here and it will live on through his recordings & me as I intend to keep Corey's music and the music we wrote together going for many years to come.
