The Fragile Path - False Reality (CD Sin Salvation Records)

The Fragile Path is an international project set up by Juda, but with a contribution of multiple guest artists from all over the globe. For this 3rd album Juda got some help from En Esch (KMFDM, Slick Idiot) who was already involved in the previous album, Lee Fraser (Sheep On Drugs), Scream13, Braille Korp, Life's Decay, Kenji Siratori and radio personality Scott Leffler. Juda did the main part of the music while the guest artists mainly took care for the words and vocals.
It’s nearly impossible to define the sound of The Fragile Path as there’re that much influences and styles running through the composition. Sometimes you get the impression listening to a compilation. Talking about each song would lead me to far, but I especially like the vague tribal-like “False Flag” for its percussion and Eastern influences. Another cool cut is “Automatic Lies” (featuring Braille Korp) which sounds more electronic-minded and reminds me a bit of the great Clock DVA. In a different minimal style although electronic as well comes “Americon”. It’s more a kind of electronic-ambient piece that could make its way as soundtrack experiment. The experiments are quite numerous on “False Reality” and I here will especially recommend “Gravity Cell” (featuring Kenji Siratori) and “Retinal Scan” (featuring En Esch). The song “Pornography” is also an attention grabber and definitely a song that will not leave you unmoved by its porn samplings and guitar play.
The Fragile Path is a rather unusual experiment in the form and the content!
