This week sees a double dose of post punk for you;

ISLINGTON BOYS CLUB
Who recently appeared at Liquid Nation (where we moonlight every Saturday,) and they brought the place to its knees. Through an exceptional blend of dark and light they have concocted a sound that is very much their own whilst still hinting at influences as diverse as The Velvet Underground and Metric. Take it from us, IBC are sublime.

DEAD WOLF CLUB
Who just played the super cool White Light night over at the Lexington supporting Die Die Die. Their influences made me chuckle;
Dark, light, knitting, [...] loudness, cats, puppies, piledrivers, Russia, bendy buses, Crakers, Philip K Dick, Nicholas Fisk, Monet, Horror Games, Catfish under water, Superheroes and Super Villians, Comics, Curry monsters, hating other bands
