It was wonderful
to finally see you perform live.
You have such a natural ability to not only
engage the audience, but make them feel like they are an important part of your
show. The rapport you establish is not forced or phony, it's as comfortable as a
conversation with an old friend, as vulnerable as confession, and as shamelessly
sheepish as an invitation to dance with the homecoming queen at your first high
school prom.
An audience not only completes what you do, it enhances it. Your
showmanship, the connection, the music -- it's all enhanced by that bond your
form, feeding off of each other.
You really do have the rough and raw
edginess of Cash, the slick and sinful wildness of Jerry Lee, and the soulful
sincerity of Elvis.
