This Sunday, literally like forty four hours from the point at which I sit here, typing this, The Brighton Bar, in beautiful seaside Long Branch, NJ will host another one of their patented, unpredictable poetry shows. 

You should come.  If you miss out on the kinds of fun that one can have here at these shows, then you have no idea what you're life is lacking. 

Even if you hate poetry, you should come.  The poets that read here are pretty good.  Christ, even I really hate poetry and I still like showing up.

 So how's that for an ad? 

It costs like five bucks if you come to drink and watch the stuff that's happening.  I think it may be free if you are reading.  So bring something to read. 

Henry Rollins shouldn't come, since he goes on and on and on.  Sylvia Plath should stay home too. 

Oh wait.  She's dead.
