If you think you voted for change in 08 when you voted for Barrack Obama, I'm afraid you don't know the half of it. The thing is, it may not even be him we have to worry about.

The thing is, Senator Obama made a lot of promises to people (and groups of people) that are going to be holding their collective hands out. Not to mention he will also enjoy a congress and House very receptive to him.

One of the first things they (by they I mean LIBERALS IN CONGRESS) are going to want to do is turn their backs on Americans and repeal the lift on the "Off shore Oil drill ban."

It is such simple common sense to drill for our own oil, and natural gas. And I'll tell you why; there in lies our economic and national security future survival. And it should go with out saying that we also need to expand on that by FINALLY breaking through this self imposed technological brain freeze we have had with alternative fuel sources.
If we as a nation-not a political party had been trying to figure alternative fuels out for the past forty years like Nixon told us to do we would be in a better spot right now... I think. Of course, I could be wrong, I know there is a lot more to things than meets the eye, but come on! Pelosi and Reid are so crooked and power hungry for power's sake, they don't care about the price of fuel, or the damn environment (that is another whole scam for another blog).

Pelosi is only concerned with keeping democrats in control of the government. If the democrats are in control of government in Washington, they are in control of the people of the United States. If you doubt this look to the democrats largest voter blocks and who they pander their fear to. And don't ask the regular news networks for those numbers because you will be told something completely different from the truth. Which is this: the democrats pander to those they NEVER, EVER HELP!!! Thats right, I went there. The reason they don't help them is because then they can always point to republicans in congress and say they are the reason why things are so bad. It is a vicious circle that keeps the poor... thats right...poor. You want to talk about pork barrel spending? Democrats have ALWAYS been the champs when it comes to that...have you ever heard the term, "Tax and Spend?" It has always been applied to democrats the way "trickle down economics" was tagged to republicans.

Look, one of the biggest problems today that I can see, is that people are not educated on their own government. Did you know 60% of the population does not know which party has control of congress? Most think it is republicans, and I wonder why that is? Do you think maybe it may be because the media wastes no time in lamenting the woes of the country at the feet of the party and of the man who they loath, and have done since day one in 2000.

You better keep your eyes open because things are going to change drastically. Obama has already said he will close Guantanamo Bay. So, there goes any real chance at gaining great intelligence any more because the ACLU is going to have a field day, and set this country BACKWARDS 20 or 30 years as far as intelligence gathering goes. Again, I really hope I am wrong on this one, but I don't see how there can be any way around it if he follows through with this promise.
