As a lot of you may know, CNN and MSNBC, and hell, everybody with the possible exception of Fox News is absolutely smitten over the new elected President of the United States, and God Lord Messiah of Change and Hope, Barack Obama. You probably realize that every time you have flipped your television to CNN, they are usually talking about what clothes Michelle Obama wears, or about what kind of dog Obama's kids want, or about their first day in school, and basically hearing about whatever exciting new bills or bailouts he has coming out next. I know some of you are probably getting quite tired of hearing about it, and I would just like to say that you aren't alone in that regard. I hate hearing about every little thing Barack Obama and his family does, especially when we have US Troops dying in the Middle East, lots of people going crazy on antidepressants and killing each other, lots more killing others just because of a dispute, or just because they wanted to, billions of taxpayer dollars going to appease corrupt politicians, and billions more going to bail out car companies that don't even WANT it.

The liberal media's obsession with Obama has gotten so bad that I have actually gone back to watching Fox News again, after having blocked it off from my TV for the last three years because I didn't like the way they were defending Bush whenever he fucked up. Let me tell you now, that I don't regret that one bit. I have heard so much frivolous bullshit about Obama, that it almost literally drove me insane just to think about it.

All I know is, I don't care at ALL about Michelle Obama or her dogs or her fashion sense or ANYTHING the media is on about. I never cared about her little kids' first day of school, either. We should be worrying about ISSUES as opposed to having the media give us a daily recording of the every little thing Obama's family does. Let's just talk about how Obama is having a fit because Chrysler won't let his administration take them over, or about how he's frittering away hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to bail out banks, just to delay their inevitable failure by a few months.

Here's an issue. The fact that she's frittering away taxpayer dollars just to look good while we're in a recession that is only getting slowly but steadily worse overtime is actually disgusting in my opinion. I would understand if she were a model or a celebrity or the like, but somebody that is related to the most powerful politician in the country ought to have a little more sense than to spend tons of money on highly expensive clothes. I am sorry, actually, no I'm not, but I don't see what the point is in buying $540 sneakers that look almost exactly the same as anything you can get from Payless or JCPenney or whatever.

Moreover, I don't understand the obsession the media has with such frivolous things. They have actually eschewed such trivial, unimportant, inconsequential things such as some asshole hopped up on antidepressants going crazy and shooting several people, and our Soldiers and Marines getting blown up by roadside bombs, and hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars going towards bailing out banks that are already on the throes of death, in exchange for the grueling new breaking news describing what new dress Michelle got, or what kind of new toys or grade the Obamalets got, or how chiseled and sexy Obama's chest, or lack thereof and his skinny, weak, bony arms are. I don't even understand what the media is even doing anymore. I'm quite sure they used to actually report the news once before, without actually trying to put their own spin on things.
