..
.. So
we are still alive (just about) after the Picnic - who said a strict
diet of dutch gold could kill you? We survived, with just a few cold
sores, 2 cases of flu, and a bruised arse (not in that way)! Thanks so
much to y'all who came down to our show on sunday night (thereby
missing my bloody valentine etc)! We had an absolute ball, and the
crowd were amazing. Also well done to all the village hall acts over
the weekend, what an amazing line-up - definitely the picnics best kept
secret! More of same next year please...
But right when we were
getting ready to go on a downer after that E.P. high along comes a gig
at auld fancy pants himself, Vicar Street - undoubtedly one of our
favourite venues in dublin. We may only have 4 songs up there but we
are gonna work it!! it'll be the biggest stage we've ever performed on
and most likely we will be SHITTING IT! Be great to see some familiar
faces there so do come along, please! Also on the night will be The
Butterfly Explosion, The Monday Club & Neon Stars - all part of a
comic theatre piece called 'Moonshine Travellers', written &
directed by Patrick McCarry.
It's all happening next Thurs Sept 11th, 8.30pm and tickets are on sale now from the ticketmaster, priced 20 squids.
Over an' out
