The East Coast Music Association announced the 2009 Music Award and leading the list with five ECMA nominations each is Gordie Sampson and Matt Mays & El Torpedo. Konica Minolta Male Solo Recording of the Year, FACTOR Recording of the Year, SOCAN Songwriter of the Year , Vibe Creative Group Single of the Year and Newcap Radio Pop Recording of the Year.
