Here are a few damn good reasons why you should come out to this very special show:
The Brand - Bianca is back! She'll be playing a few local shows with us before we move to NY in December.
Humbert - Rumor has it that all four members will actually be at the show!
Jorges - Welcome this new group to the scene. Jorges is fronted by Jorge (former Brand guitarist), alongside Gaston (The Stop Motion), Eli (Number 3 Pencils), and Brandon.
In As Much Another hot, new, band; fresh outta Hialeah that will be getting their cherries popped here at Plaid! Its all in the family here, David; the drummer is Omars (The Brand) lil broawww!
The Madd Agents Make sure to congratulate this horny Ska group for their recent performances on this years Warped Tour in Orlando and Pompano.
Noveltype These local cats just came back from tour where they did a fantastic job representing our scene out there. Noveltype will be rocking the patio all night alongside Agro, Bad Panda, and Lacuona.
Baby Calendar Another group of local heroes that just came from tour. They made some friends out there in Texas and decided to bring them down to Plaid for a piece of the action. They are O Pioneers, and Buxton.
The touring bands on this weeks Plaid are not just steers and queers. We have Nova Clutch from New York and Monet Madrid Madagascar from Cleveland, OH. We know how hard it is to be on tour so make sure to give a warm welcome back to Noveltype and Baby Calendar. A far as our Texas, New York, and Ohio bands; embrace them as if they were our own locals. These hardworking bands are driving all the way down to Miami just to play for you. I encourage everyone to watch their performances, buy their merch, buy them a round, or even offer them a place to crash.
With all that said, wed like to cordially invite you to attend this incestuous, cherry-popping, tour-supporting night of fantastic music and utter debauchery.
Love,
Omar, Leo, Juan, and Bianca
The Brand and group Plaid
Best Local Rock Band, 2004 The Miami New Times
PS dont forget to sport your plaid!
