An evening of Metal / Punk / Indie from 4 establised Yorkshire bands. This gig is to highlight the talent of bands nearer to home. Starting off the evening are Barnsley's outfit The Baddies with their catchy brand of Indie/Rock. Next up are Wakefield's Pylon, these guys have played in several countries abroad and have a loyal following that seem to lap up their melodic Indie sound. Stepping up the tempo (and intensity) and also fom Wakefield are Milloy who seem to me to be just waiting for the right moment to hit the big time. The band have a unique sound of all their own making, one of the few bands that have made me sit up and listen intently. Their new album 'More than a machine' got a well-deserved 5/5 in 'Rock Sound' last December. Finally up are HEAVY Rockers Djingo. Very entertaining chaps, knocking you over with an in-yer-face Metal barrage. A varied evening, get down for an entertaining Saturday night out !
