So, everyone is freaking out or creaming over the new Doctor, Matt Smith. Me...I'm just excited.

I suppose I'm not upset because I didn't have David Tennant for his full run. I barely got into Doctor Who last year after hearing the theme song. That's what got me watching in the first place. Weird, I know. But then I saw the 10th Doctor. Like a lot of people before me, I fell in love with my very first Doctor.

I came for the theme, I stayed for the Tennant.

So, I love Mr. David, I really do, he'll always be my first! I'm really excited to see how Matt Smith is going to rock his Doctor, though! I've never gone through 'the changing of the Doctors,' this will be my first ever! Woot!

I'm totally feeling his hair, and his use of jazz hands and spirit fingers. He's not controlled and open at the same time, as David Tennant is. You see it all when Matt Smith talks, there's no filter for his emotion. He's a bit more raw...like. A bit, dare I say it, younger. lol. I like them both, is what I'm saying.

I'm reserving my final judgement on Mr. Smith until I see him strut the TARDIS in 2010. Just because I like him doesn't mean I'll like his Doctor.

Of course, this is all a long way off. We've still got a bit of time left with David Tennant's Doctor, and I plan to make the best of it.

Well, that's me, done. Just wanted to add my voice to all the others talking about number eleven. I want to wish Matt Smith all the luck in the world and let him know, even though he'll (hopefully) never read this that for whatever it's worth, he's got all my support.
