One of my favorite websites in the world,
x-entertainment.com, is in full-on Halloween mode right now, and this past Saturday the site's owner, Matt, ran an art contest in the blog. Entries had to feature some sort of artful depiction of Jason Voorhees (of
Friday the 13th) dancing in some way, shape, or form. The prize? Packets of
Scary Blackberry "Ghoul-Aid" Kool-Aid!Inspired to win old Kool-Aid in order to proclaim myself "kool," I dug out some old Crayola markers and whipped up a little something in a few minutes, quick and dirty. The result?

Ha ha, get it? Its Jason Voorhees flashing back to a dance he had with the devil in the pale moonlight in order to answer the Jack Nicholson version of the Joker's question "ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?" I'm hilarious! Anyway, I didn't win, but I was a runner-up, meaning I get a pack of that old Kool-Aid!
There were quite a few cool entries, from a neat, gory recreation of the Halloween party from "Its The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" wherein Jason has slaughtered all the Peanuts gang to a scary (but not the scariest I've seen lately) cake with a murderous Jason depicted in buttercream celebrating after apparently beheading a snowman.
Check them all out!
