Policy Regarding Mosh Pits, Two-Stepping, Etc.
If you are about playing or seeing a band play at a place where the sound is amazing, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and people are there to enjoy the music, then The Wire is the venue for you.

If your band or fans of your band are looking for a place where they can have a sick pit, mosh, circle pit, two step, hardcore dance, or anything like that, The Wire is definitely NOT the venue for you. If you prefer to play shows or go to shows where fights often break out or it is mostly about having a pit, this is not the kind of place you will want to go to. No pits, two-stepping, etc. are allowed and violators will be asked to leave. If there is a fight, the show is over and the people in the fight will be leaving with the cops.

We have nothing against any style of music, but we are adamant about no pits, fighting, etc. If that is what you enjoy, then you need to go to the places that are ok with that. There are plenty of places that support and allow that, and we understand if you prefer that sort of venue over ours. We are just not one of those places. We do not allow any sort of violence in our venue. We just wanted to let everyone know, so that no one is disappointed when they come to a show expecting something different.
