Current mood:busy busy busy

We are playing at Tommy Flynns on Camden High Street on Thursday (1st Oct).  It’s gonna be a great night.  Opening with the ambient poetic sounds of Maria Slovakova, which I’m quite looking forward to seeing and ending with the brilliant and entertaining sounds of those nutty Japanese girls “No Cars”.  In between and on at 9.30pm its us!!!  The Spivs and The Popsocks complete the line-up.  Come on down!!!  We’ll have some more CDs of our new album “Thru’ the Fly Machine” to give away too, but best to let me know in advance so that… a) you get one… or b) I press enough copies.

Talking of the new album, so far over 1000 people either have it on CD or have downloaded it.  We’ve had another couple of favourable reviews, both from foreign press.  I have used Google translate so that I can read them (though some of it translates a bit weird).

You can still download the album for FREE via our website (please don’t download it via one of the reviewers hotfile links…ours is safer.

On Sunday we filmed another video with Ambrose Yalley.  This time it is for the song “So We Say” and we went down to Shorne in Kent to film it in the woods.  Why not film it in Londons parks/forests, I hear you cry?  Something to do with red tape and having to pay for the privilege, I answer?  Thanks to all our friends down there who came along to be a part of it.  A fun day was had by all (I hope)!  The video should be edited in two weeks I am assured and I can’t wait to see it.  Extra thanks to Dave for finding and checking out Shorne Country Park as our location.

What else have we been up to….oh yeah, we’ve been asked (by our friend Elijah from Sebastian Melmoth) to perform an original piece for a photographic gallery in January.  The idea is to get inspired by the photographs and write something new for the performance.  Sounds like something right up our alley.  I’ll keep you informed about this as it all pans out.  Early days.

I always post these things and then remember something else I wanted to tell you about, but I can’t think of anything right now so…

Hopefully see you Thursday!
