So, I've begun the wonderful/confusing process of making an entire album (12 songs) and have been soliciting the help of many friends. If you haven't gotten a call/email from me asking for musical collaboration/help, you will soon. I decided to post some pictures as I go along of each step in the process. The most exciting part of all this for me is the chance to make music with my insanely talented friends.
These pictures were taken a few weeks ago at Marc's house. We recorded all of the scratches (crappy vocals and guitar w/ click track) and I'll be taking the tracks to San Diego to add drums, etc.

This is Marc, Co-Producer, in the home recording studio in Venice....notice the fireplace behind him...lovely to record here. He is coming out with his solo album on Feb. 22. I sing back-up vox on it. www.myspace.com/welcometothedangershow

I have an odd way of doing things. First of all, I cannot play with the metronome if it is clacking away in my headphones. I can only stay in time with it if it's playing from the other side of the room.

Also, I forget how to play the songs, so Marc has to hold up the chord letter right before I play it.
Then, I can't concentrate cuz he looks so ridiculous waving scraps of paper around.
Until next time...
Love,
