i am proud -and a little smug- to announce that my Friend this sunday, Sept 6, at the 'Jon Dee And Friend Show' at The Continental's upstairs speakeasy The Gallery, is the Austin icon, the undisputed Commisar of Cool, the man who taught me to never EVER tuck my shirt in unless i was wearing a suit and even then it depends on the suit-------- Mr. JESSE SUBLETT! if i have to tell you who he is, you probably shouldn't be there anyway, but he was the founding force behind The Skunks, which helped shape and define the austin punkrock scene, an award-winning author of i forget how many books and actually really my friend. come on out, 8pm sunday. It will not disappoint.

please bring Mr. Sublett to Omaha next time your up this way (October/November?)...
I will not wear both suspenders and a belt at the same time, (what movie was that from..."never trust anyone who wears both suspenders and a belt"?)
take care,
mark (still in Iowa, Sioux City to be exact, in case you'd have designs on playing here also!)

He is so right about the tucking in of the shirt, I have always follwed that rule (much to my mother's dismay).

But you tuck your shirt in all the time!?  That aside, good to see you plowing away + hope to finally catch you Germany next time you come over, it's been too long since the last time. Good karma & safe journeys to you and yours. Kent P.S. Who's putting out the new record?
