I know that some people believe in his ideas (of whatever), but what they just don't it about copying someone else's ideas and adopt it as their own, and that is called CHEATING in which a lot of graduate students or higher got expelled from school for just that. Maybe the faculty just overlooked  King's thesis or he just got lucky, whatever. Since the majority of the Japanese is born with 'minutiae' they seem to notice things just a level below the television series of 'The Mentalist.'  Maybe it is the malady to the Japanese.
