I hope you're all doing wonderful... :) I'm doing great! I just returned from my 5 - Day Tour in Afghanistan and I must say that it was probably one of the most memorable and exiting tours I've ever done! Afghanistan is an incredible place and the people are so appreciative! I felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to see this amazing country with my own eyes and to do something for all the wonderful soldiers who risks their lives every day.

THERESE ON A 5 - DAY CONCERT TOUR PLAYING FOR THE TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN  

After three extremely prosperous months in Dubai, Therese went on an overwhelmingly successful trip to Afghanistan from May 16 - 21.

For security reasons the organizers kept details of the tour undisclosed until the last moment.

Therese's opening performance was at the headquarters for NATO-troops in Kabul, attended by soldiers from more than 30 different countries. This was followed by two stunning concerts in Northern Afghanistan. More than 400 soldiers attended her performance on May18 at Camp Marmal, home to the "Regional Command North". The day after Therese gave an open-air concert for the approx, 400 Swedish troops stationed at Camp Northern Lights near the city of Mazar-e Sharif.

Security was tight throughout her trip with Therese travelling in German and Norwegian military planes and armored vehicle convoys.

Back in Kabul on the final day of her tour, Therese gave yet another open-air concert. Some 300 US-troops engaged in Operation Enduring Freedom were delighted to be hosting Therese and to witness an overwhelming performance. After the concert General Andrew Twomey personally thanked Therese for coming to Afghanistan and decorated her with the medal of the Commanding General awarded for excellence.
