i've added some tunes to the myspace player today. One is an old "hit", Come and Play, from our first album. It's probably our best known and most requested tune, even though much of the production is horrible. I've learnt so much since then (including not to put anything out you're not 100% happy with) and it's a little embarrasing to hear the drums especially. That said, I think it still has some charm and Samy was having a very, very good day the day we did that. I actually wrote that tune before Digitonal even existed. The original was written for a documentary directed by my old friend, flatmate, sometimes bandmate and nemesis Mark. It's funny that it still seems to get noticed.

The other tune is a brand new one which will soon be released on a Big Chill compilation, Take Me Home. It's a track we've been playing out live for a couple of years now, and it was nice to get a final mix of it down. Me and Cal are constantly at each other about which version to play live, the original beaty one, or this slicker version. Cal likes the loud and messy one, whereas I like it refined and sweet.
