Current mood: adventurous
Ok I haven't updated my stuff for a long time so here are a few new things...
First I am now the Web Designer for Auburn-Washburn. It's a lot of fun. I've been redesigning their websites. I'm pretty much finished with the templates and now I'm just starting to get the old sites switched over to the new stuff. There's a lot of other stuff I'm going to be doing, but that is my most imediate task.
I've been pretty sick this year. I've been sick since December. First I had a bad respritory infection and I couldn't breath because of it. It hurt really bad and I kept coughing making my throat raw. Then I started to get better and then got Bronchitis. That was really bad because I had trouble breathing, not as bad as before though, and I was coughing so bad that I was coughing up blood. I really think I just tore my throat up, but I don't know it only lasted a few days then I stopped coughing up blood. Then I finally was about over that when I got a really bad cold. It didn't hurt to breath but I was really conjested and coughing again. No blood this time though.
I am in Arizona visiting my good friends Kristy, Tony, and Joe. I'm having a great time. Ive never been to Arizona before so this is completely new experience for me. I'm so used to Kansas with the humidity and all the storms that have been going on. This is really different. Pretty much every day has been around 110 degrees. It is dry heat, but it's still hot.
We went hiking this morning in the mountains, and it was so much fun. It's a lot different then hiking in Colorado. It's all sand and pretty much out in the sun. At least in Colorado there are trees and rock.
When we first got started we saw a Garter Snake. It was just going back into the brush so we didn't think to much about it. After all when you're outside you are in the home of every living thing so we were the trespassers any way. We got about half way up the mountain and had just finished a quick water break when we saw a lady running with a couple of dogs. We started going up as she was coming down. When we were about to meet she stopped and pulled her dogs off to the side. Me and Joe stopped and saw this big Diamondback. Kristy though didn't see it. The snake was about 3 feet long. Kristy got about 3 feet away from it when we got her attention. We was like Kristy! Kristy! Kristy! She finally stopped and the lady was like That's a rattler you know. pretty non-shalaunt like. That's when Kristy noticed the snake that was coiled up and shaking it's rattle at her. She did good though and she backed up before the snake decided she was to much of a threat. After she got back over to us the snake decided it was safe and started crossing the path. He went pretty slow because he was really worried about the lady's dogs. After a few minutes the snake had passed and we were going to go on up to the top, but decided it might be better to go back down. I wasn't really worried about snakes, but I was already having trouble with being tired. I'm pretty out of shape since I've been so sick this year. I actually think the heat is really helping me. I'm not feeling sick any more. I still have a slight cough, but it's so much better. I don't have nearly as much pain as I did.
Not really anything else going on. I know this is a lot, but like I said I haven't updated in a long time.
Later.
