I just got back to Rolla MO after spending a week in Los Angeles for Spring Break.  It was AMAZING! 

I’ll start out by saying our hotel was right on Hollywood Blvd, in Thai Town.  We got there late Sunday night and decided to go check out Hollywood.  We walked on the stars, saw Mann’s Chinese Theater, went to the Wax Museum, and Amoeba (not all that night).  We saw all the footprints and took pictures with Johnny Depp’s. At Amoeba I bought three CDs and two movies, that store is amazing! 

One day we were shopping at Hollywood and Highland where there was a Panic at the Disco signing going on at the Hot Topic.  So, we found the end of the line and decided since it was wraping around the building that it was not worth it (plus, I think we would have been the oldest people in line).  We did get to see the guys though.  They were the only ’famous’ people we saw the whole time we were in LA.

Monday and Tuesday we went to Universal Studios and the City Walk.  It was a lot of fun.  We got to do an oxygen bar, see people fly and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe (where there was a POD show that night).  I also spent WAY to much money at Lush. 

I had an apointment in Beverly Hills on Wednesday and then we drove around looking at stuff and stopping at random places.  We got lost and ended up in the Hollywood Hills where we tried to guess how much the homes cost.  I think the cheapest one was maybe 5 million.  We also got lost in a really nice Beverly Hills neighborhood and decided that the people who live there must choose which car to drive that day depending on if it matches their clothes. 

Thursday we went to the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach.  We played in the arcade at the pier and I ended up giving all the tickets I won to a random kid.  At Venice Beach we walked a guy walk on glass and bought a ton of stuff. 

Friday was our last day there so we did a lot of little things like going to a huge outdoor mall, seeing City Hall in downtown, and going to a concert at a club by our hotel.  When we went to City Hall I was wearing an AFI shirt and the security gaurds went INSANE!  They started freaking out and telling us about when AFI shot their video for Miss Murder there.  They ended up writing all the places the band shot in there for us and telling us how to get to them.  One of them told us that Davey signed a pillar, but wouldn’t tell me where it was because I was talking to the other security gaurd more.  I don’t know if it was true.  But anyways, we saw the big circle room and the entrance way thing where Davey was standing on the roof. 

That night we saw Semi Precious Weapons at Safari Sam’s along with some other bands.  The singer of the band reminded us of Jeffree Star.  They were very intertaining live. 

The trip was fantastic and I want to go back so bad!
