I am organising a fund raising event because my family and I are going to Uganda on 4th April to help build a house for 8 aids orphans and their carer. Sound very right on but I want to go because I want to stop feeling ungrateful or poor, when I am so rich compared to the rest of the word, and I want my girls who are adopted from China to see other parts of the world where kids have troubled lives (apart from China) and to experience other ways of living.

If you can, do come along on March 1st to an all ages art and music and film event. It is in the afternoon on a Saturday in Nottinghill, in London in a beautiful location, St Peter's church. The Raincoats will play a set , as well as many other wonderful talented musicians and singers. Trevor Flynn is running a brilliant all ages art workshop and I will be screening films and videos as well.
There will be food and drinks and even some stalls. All profits will go toward the Watoto house building project. There is a cost of £10 per adult and £5 per child. It should be a great afternoon and even better if you are there too
