Ok.. this hurts.. seriously.. This is the firs ttime that a death in hip hop has really hurt my heart... Dilla was the first one that made me sad.. Coz like.. he was so talented and was taken too soon. But .. X-Clan like... changed my life.. Anyone who knows me makes fun of me coz i bump and talk about Blackwards like it dropped yesterday.. I can't think of one day that has passed in recent YEARS that I haven't listened to at least ONE X-clan song.. I was trying to FIND PXO for a skit on saigons album for christ sake.. I can't even type about this..
Jay

Fresh Prodeuce

the only thing that helps me ease the pain of losing someone i look up to in music is imagining the amazing music being made by them and all the other fallen soldiers up in heaven right now... can you imagine biggie, pac, big L, big pun, freaky tah, eazy, scott la rock, jam master jay, and now jay dee and PXO - all working on music with each other? one day we'll get to hear it...

i'll never forget skimming the channels and buggin out when i'd be lucky enough to catch the video for funkin' lesson on public access in awe thinkin damn i wish i could be on the same planet of funk these guys are... RIP Professor X.

Kid Captain

Pimipin i'm right there witchoo man... mad cats aint feelin me about the posts i've made on message boards about this but, i'm glad SOMEBODY cares! The Clan changed my whole thought process as well... and they managed to do it in the same way P.E. did, a few years before "Blackwards" came out. PXO was like the wise Flava Flav... he knew what time it was and had a dope way of bringin it. Him and Brother J together? Man listen... i can't lose another hero this year... somethin's gotta give back!

DGP: PUT IT ALL TO MUSIC

Socially Concious Music has taken a hit. PXO will be missed but you gotta stay positive, he has joined the other great revolutionaries at the party at the crossroads. And those of us that carry the torch of socially concious music will just have to grind even harder to make a positive change.

For those who want to watch and remember PXO here is a link to Funkin Lesson by X CLAN

This is true. It threw me off when i heard about it on the radio the other day. I think that album was one of the greats and his style and grit on all the X-Clamn diatribes were sick! RIP PXO of the X-Clan....Th the East Blackwards, Sissy!

DONNY GOINES

I feel you on this one. When my Boy Disco D died I felt really fuced up too. He was one of my mentors coming up in the game and its hard to lose people you look up to. I wrote him a dedication song on his most famous beat he sold ("Ski Mask way" on the 50 Cent Massacre album) and just relized that everything, negative and positve happens for a reason. If you wanna listen to the record its on my page. Be easy. 1
