Hello dear friends,
Ah...Green...That's a nice color for summer!
Are you feeling...Green?
Well...I have four new songs that I'm so hot to get
into your hands and ears and iPods and hearts.
Will you join me?
"Let us go then, you and I,
When the evening is spread out against the sky..." The first song this week is called Inching Closer.
It's an upbeat song with some funky bass line parts
and strings and other things. "Each time I feel like
I'm inching closer...getting closer."
Sure!
Ok...shifting gears...A Paler Time is a quiet,
introspective ballad with some interesting shifts
and changes. There's some really nice jazzy drums
with brushes in there. "A miracle mile and a
mermaid alive...touch and go, the vibrations now...
are coming back to life." I hope you can download
this one and listen in a quiet space.
We shift again...and we head into the space
of the quiet astronaut...this is an instrumental
plunge into inner (or outer) space. Can you be
an astronaut in your own living room?
The last song is from the year 2005 and it's called
Someday in my dreams. I've always liked this
song and I'm happy to give it another airing out
here in myspace land. It's an electro-pop declaration
of love and memory and hope and dreams.
"Sooner of later it will come to me...someday in my dreams."
