Dear friends,

I hope these words find you healthy
and happy and finding interesting things.

After releasing 88 different songs here on
Myspace during the last year, I needed some
time to recharge my creative batteries.

But...I'm so happy to be posting on here again
with five new songs for your ears and hearts and
minds and iPods.

As usual, please press the Download button
and save these songs to your iPod or burn them
to a CD. I think music sounds much better away
from a computer. Feel free to copy them and share
them with friends. We don't sell songs for 99 cents
a piece on this page. :-)

Ok...let's talk music, people:

The first song is called BETTER and it's co-written
and performed with my friend and collaborator,
Laurie Pierre. This is a piano based waltz about feeling
lost and then somehow feeling...ok. "Once I was lost and
now it's just better..." Laurie sings beautifully
on it about hidden surprises and unexpected turns.
This is a personal, recent favorite and I hope
you can download and check it out.

The next song picks up the beat a bit. It's called
ELEMENTARY FOOL. Back in my college days
at NYU, I was in a band called 'Hello Citizen'.
We had this young kid on bass named Matt
Besterman. That young kid now has kids of his
own and is a TV news producer. However, he's still
playing some swinging bass and he walks through
this tune so beautifully.

I AM THE INFINITE is another song co-written
and performed by Laurie. Years ago I traveled to
the south of Italy to meet my father's family. I
was given a book of poetry written by my cousin
Amalia Leo. I wrote some songs using her lyrics in
Italian. Recently, I sat down to write another one
but ended up just using her beautiful title as
inspiration. This is an impressionistic, orchestral
sounding song with different movements and a lovely
middle section by Laurie.

Next up is a slow waltz called THE PRICE THAT YOU
PAY.
It touches on some very personal and private
places for me. It sounds good early in the morning
or very late a night. Play it in some quiet spaces
if you can.

The last song is called JUST THE WAY I INTEND
which is a quiet little pop song. It's about the
distance between intent and expression...and the
space in between. I'm always stumbling over
words...trying to find some that work. :-)

And with these words, I will leave you now
with just music. Look for me in there and if I did
my job ok...maybe you'll see some of you too.

Be extra-kind to yourself today.

Have fun,
