Rode 3 Miles (4.9 km) practically uphill most of the way and the same distance back down today. I went out too early to catch the actual sunrise, but it had started out looking cool and just got better from there. As I was entering my appartment, the sun was about to break the horizon and the view was the best so far this morning.

Started cramping up (I was stupid and in a rush to get out the door and take my mind off things) after I had crested the big hill already, so I took it kind of easy on my calves, though I didn't stop pushing myself...

Rode out to the bigger of the two malls in the area, drank some fluids and did some stretches while enjoying the scene in the distance. The sun was showing its colours against the low-lying clouds. There were other clouds which hadn't been touched by the colours which were big enough and moving enough to feel like slow-moving battle ships, which was cool.

After the stretching was done (did a stretch to pull on the calves, one that pulled on the muscles and such stuff behind the knees and one to stretch the muscles in the thighs, not going to bother looking up the names for them) I got back on my bike and headed home. There was a little uphill terrain on the way back, but nothing too strenuous. Mostly it was downhill, which was nice. Got to rest for part of the journey back. :P

My route: Turned onto North Street from mine and rode to the top. From about halfway between my house and the top of North Street is uphill, for those of you who don't know. Nothing too strenuous though. At the top I took a right, really the only way one could go. The first block was at a minor incline, the rest was a little down and flat. When I reached the end of that street, I took a left and took the next right, turning into the hospital. Rode along the main road as if I were going to the main entrance. This was uphill too, A little steeper than the ride along North Street. When I reached the top, I took a left and rode along that road until I was on Main street. Crossed the street and peddled until I reached Dorset street, at which point I rode toward the main entrance of the mall. On the way back, I did the same in reverse.

Total Milage this weekend: 17.4 (28km)

I think I'll add my route from now on.

the two previous routes are essentially the same, so I think I'll post them here.

Both times, I exited my street, turning left onto Manhattan Drive, riding along it until it terminates and turns left. I took that street to North Ave. and rode it until I reached the High School. Just before reaching the HS, there is a fairly large dip in the road, so to cool down from that and regain my strength (I'm still weak :P) I turned into the bus loop on campus. After riding that once, I continued along North Ave. On the shorter trip, I entered the Ethan Allen Shopping Center and rode a large circle before heading back. On the longer trip, I kept riding along North Ave. until I reached the point where the buses normally turn around (2000 North Ave) where I stretched and rode back. Long ride, but worth it.
