This song happened after Rick asked our group to write about 'unsung hero's in our lives. I wrote about my dad. He encouraged (some might say insisted on) the pursuit of music at our house. My brother and I both took piano lessons starting at about age 10 and kept at it until late into high school. I could have had him also teach me guitar but we had 'issues' which hindered the lessons. I ultimately inherited his guitars and his love for music, so I wrote this song as a tribute to the 'feet that led the way' to my own musical journey. I'm still experimenting with this song and already do another version of it so don't be surprised if you hear a different posting soon.
