Well we just got back from the Oshkosh Park & Recreation meeting.

The proposal to use the Rainbow park space as a Freestyle BMX park has PASSED!!!!

That's right! Every single member on the board voted in favor of the park.



You might be thinking... "Well that's great, but what do we do now?"

Well now comes the hardest part of the project...
We need to start fund raising for for our park! The ramps don't just show up over night. Start small by asking to put a donation jar at a local store or school. Tell friends and family about the project. Get involved!

If you'd like a donation jar send a message to this myspace or email oshkoshbikepark@gmail.com for the print out label to put over the jar.

Also, start watching all your favorite bmx videos and keep notes on all the spots that look like they would be a blast to ride! This is going to be YOUR bike park and we need YOUR input!!!

Lastly, stay tuned to this myspace for info on upcoming bike park meetings to talk more about fund raising.
