As some of you may or may not know, our label, Touch and Go Records, has ceased the release of new music as of this year. Incidentally, Pinback has found a new home with our friends at Temporary Residence Ltd.

Pinback would like to thank Touch and Go Records for putting out our last 2 releases. We have nothing but good things to say about the label. It’s hard to see them go. The releases that they did over the last 25+ years have been an inspiration to us, and it was an honor to be on the label. We hope that Touch and Go Records will rise again, they have been such a positive influence on us. We made a lot of friends over the course of the 5 years we were there, we felt like we were a part of a family. You couldn’t ask for anything more. We wish Corey Rusk and everyone that worked there the best.

At the same time we are looking forward to starting a new chapter in Pinback’s future with Temporary Residence. It’s important to us that the label we are a part of has a down-to-earth, genuine ‘human vibe’ to it. We feel this is the case at Temporary Residence. We can’t wait and are looking forward to writing a solid new record for them.

any dates for any new Pinback releases ? I guess you probably still in preliminary stages, but a rough idea would be useful.....Sad to hear about the demise of Touch & Go, I have so many records released by them in my collection, hopefully as you say they will rise again the world needs record labels like T+G.....Take care Pinback, and keep up the excellent work for me you are easily the best band in the world at the moment, you guys are true legeneds,....Brain II, Confined Space x
