Subject: I want to thank you...

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for adding me. Dime was a big inspiration for me all through high school. It was "Vulgar Display of Power" that kept me going every year. I listened to the final track everyday. It had reminded me of a friend I lost to suicide. No matter what it was his guitar playing that kept me going. Dime meant a lot to this 19 y.o. from a small town in Wisconsin. He still does. Every day i watch the dimevision Vol. 1 DVD at least once. Today I plan on going into the Marine Corps. I plan to sign my papers by Mid-April and I plan to show the world how great I can be. And it was everything that Dime said that gave me my mantra. I never was privledged enough to see him in person or in concert but i always imagine it had to have been awesome. thank you so much for adding me

Being from the D/FW area, I first saw Pantera in 1988 at a small club in Arlington. Before Diamond Darrell (that's what he went by back then), my 'guitar hero was Randy Rhoads. Darrell went into this Rhoads medley of solos that just blew me away! It was love at first sound for me. I was 'addicted' to Pantera after that and I got my 'fix' just about every weekend at various clubs in the area.. I eventually got to know Pantera on a personal level. I hung out with Darrell on many occasions. Just like you hear people say all the time, he was fun to be around. He always had you laughing. I miss him sooo much. He was a true friend and my hero.
