Cosmopolitics is back in Lawrence after a hugely successful nine-show jaunt to the west coast. The band would like to extend thank you's and much love to Forgotten Works and Otis Heat who basically made sure our Eugene and Portland shows popped off. We look forward to playing Lucky's again and any warehouse party in Portland, for that matter.
Thanks to Vert Dave and the John's Alley crew for helping us feel the love in Moscow again. That place is a ton of fun to rock out. And a super special thank you to the bachelorette party who came out to our Victor show and shook their asses off. We salute you.
All in all it was one smashing success after another. We met people from all areas of life. We invited them to take part in our musical experiments. It is their reactions to those expressions and their interactions with us that make this whole deal worthwhile, so the band would lastly like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who came out and gave us the love.
Now. on to other things. Cosmopolitics plays November 20 at the Jazzhaus in Lawrence and on the 28th at the Crosstown Station in Kansas City. See you there!
